Ghoulish Mutilation
she was burned from the waist up
up
is what they say
but who was she
really
did she go to school with your
mother
or me
was her hair bright blonde
were her eyes bright blue
did she do anything wrong
did she have sorrowful
sleep
what shoes was she wearing
were they white canvas
sneakers
designer jeans
but no credit cards
some food stamps and a couple of
identities
